Politely Messy

Welcome back to Politely Messy! Dasha is the first guest on the show, and she does not hold back!
The voice behind “Austin” sits down with Jordy fresh off the release of her new single “‘82 Chevy,” a song rooted in one very specific truck-bed memory. Even with a hit under her belt, Dasha admits the imposter syndrome hasn’t gone anywhere, though she’s learned to laugh at the internet’s most creative attempts to tear her down. She also reveals how her signature on-stage shoey started, and her dating life gets its own spotlight: she’s done with musicians, but baseball players are another story.
Off stage, Dasha opens up about her friendship with Rob Rausch, picks the Nashville stars she’d bet on in a celebrity season of The Traitors, and introduces Sherman, the donkey who joined her life through her work with Cowboy Ranch Rescue. When the conversation turns to what’s next, she shares early plans for her next album, what it’s been like writing with Shane McAnally, and the gap she sees in country music right now, along with the weight of knowing someone is always watching. It all wraps with a round of “Dash In or Dash Out” and her side of a rumor about a downtown after-party.

Welcome to Politely Messy! In the very first episode, Jordy Cray pulls up a chair on Music Row in Nashville to explain what this show is, who it’s for, and why it’s been a long time coming.
Jordy talks about how his viral Hilary and Haylie Duff deep dive started it all, and how a kid who grew up on Dolly and Reba and Britney and Jessica Simpson ended up blending country music and pop culture into one very messy (but very polite) brand. He also opens up about the days he spent juggling two very different worlds as an addictions counselor by day and content creator by night, and the TikTok invite that convinced him to go all in, and making a name for himself at BravoCon by grabbing the mic to ask Andy Cohen anything. Along the way he shares some of his most surreal moments: meeting Jessica Simpson three times in one year, interviewing Denise Richards, finding out Brittany Snow is a fan, and the Michael Ray DM he’s still waiting on. Expect country stars, Bravolebrities, reality TV favorites, and plenty of tea.

Politely Messy is where celebrities, music, and reality TV collide. Creator Jordy Cray, known for his viral pop culture deep dives, sits down with stars from Music Row to Bravo for conversations that feel more like catching up with a friend than an interview.A lifelong fan turned red carpet regular, Jordy built his following by saying what everyone else was thinking and asking the questions fans actually want answered. Now he’s bringing those conversations to the mic. Jordy knows the stories, respects the people behind them, and asks the questions listeners actually want answered.Expect big names, behind-the-scenes moments, and plenty of tea. It’s fun, honest, and a little messy, but always polite.
